Meet your counselor,
Taylor Eisenach
“If your head is in the clouds, let your feet be in the dirt. It’s okay to feel your laughter and also feel your hurt. If they tell you to dream smaller, just hold on a little more, while still being okay with not knowing what’s in store. It’s in the grit and grace you will start to find your place. Under skies blue and grey, you are still well on your way.” -Morgan Harper Nichols
My Roots
My childhood started down a long dirt road, in a log house that held both memories and life lessons. Cattle grazing in open fields and castles made of hay bales rooted me in a love of burgers, the Bible, and big dreams that eventually flew me out to Biola University in Orange County, California. I grew, I learned, and I struggled. The art of becoming is a painful process. My heart was broken, my purpose confused, and my reality way different from the one I had imagined. Eventually, pain was recycled to purpose and a dream was born to walk with people through their own struggle, their own process. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hope International University, traded the ocean piers for mountain peaks, and returned home to Colorado.
As I stepped into my counseling practice, I also stepped into some of the hardest years of my life. That's the thing about life, just when you finally reach solid ground, you fall through a trap door again. I was uprooted in hardship and reground in God's grace. I was embedded with knowledge that experience could then craft into wisdom. And the dream to walk alongside the hurt, broken, and lost was sturdier than ever. Because I had just walked it myself.
I used to wish that I could erase parts of my life that hurt. However, it was these moments that gifted me with a sharp mind, yet soft heart. With the steps to help others get unstuck, yet the empathy to sit in the tears. With the fervor to turn pain into purpose, yet the compassion to bind a broken heart in comfort and understanding. With the calling to integrate Christianity into counseling and to help heal hurts and foster faith. To feel deep reverence for someone's story, and advocate the importance of being truly known and deeply loved.
Wherever you’re at in life, let’s walk it together.

Fun facts…
I was born with two front teeth!
The only sport I did in high school was Dragon Boat Racing.
My favorite part about being a counselor is…
When a client feels like I completely understand them and can take a deep breath that they’re not alone. They’re not too sensitive, broken, or crazy. They make perfect sense and have every right to feel what they’re feeling.
If I’m not at work I’m…
Driving up to Rocky Mountain National Park to hike OR failing to keep my hands off of desserts OR spilling my coffee all over my shirt OR singing in the car.

Believe it or not, the most important part of counseling is a good working relationship with your therapist. You have to be comfortable, heard, known, and emotionally safe. This is built through humor, validation, and warmth. From there, I use a combination of person-centered therapy, emotionally focused therapy, psychodynamic, internal family systems, and family systems therapy to customize your individual treatment plan.
